MittLogik Enters 5-Year Framework Agreement for High Performance Computing

MittLogik has signed a 5-year framework agreement with the European Spallation Source to provide High Performance Consulting services to their data centers in Copenhagen, Denmark, and Lund, Sweden.

The European Spallation Source (ESS) is a collaborative European initiative. The ESS facility is a leading center for materials research and life sciences using neutrons and will house the world's most powerful neutron source. The facility is being constructed in Lund, Sweden, with a data management and software center in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The Data Management Software Center (DMSC) is a division of ESS, responsible for providing software and hardware for the user office, data acquisition, data streaming, data reduction, data analysis, data management, remote access, and related training.

To achieve this, DMSC possesses expertise in materials and life sciences, data science, machine learning, software engineering, user experience, and various neutron scattering techniques, collaborating globally with universities and other research infrastructures.

DMSC operates two data centers, a larger one in the Copenhagen area, Denmark, and a smaller one in Lund, Sweden, both equipped with high performance computing (HPC) and storage capacities.
